Stephen G. Dasher, CPA, Partner
Stephen G. Dasher is a partner of our firm specializing in accounting services for government contractors, construction contractors, and building cleaning contractors. The work he has performed includes audits, reviews, compilations, business and individual income tax planning and preparation, accounting and consulting services. Some of these consulting services include implementing accounting systems, strengthening internal controls, due diligence related to acquisitions and assistance with the sales of businesses. Steve has also helped clients become compliant with the regulatory requirements for government contractors, assisted with incurred cost submissions, and has interfaced with government audit agencies on behalf of his clients.
Steve received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1989. He is a licensed CPA in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He is a member of many associations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is treasurer of the Associated Builders & Contractors Virginia Chapter and a past board member of the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI). Additionally, he has taught classes on “Resource Control and Cost Awareness” to both construction supervisors and project managers, as well as written articles regarding cost accumulation systems for government contractors and financial benchmarking.
When Steve is not in the office, you might find him traveling, attending his children’s events, or hiking.
