Steve Staton, Partner

Steve is a partner of Lanigan, Ryan, Malcolm & Doyle, P.C.  He began his public accounting career with the firm upon graduation from college nineteen years ago.  Steve has spent his career helping his clients position themselves for current market challenges as well as equipping them to take on new challenges profitably.

 

Experience
Steve specializes in providing services to privately owned companies in a variety of industries.  His focus has been helping clients grow and develop in order to reach their specific goals.  He has also presented seminars to banking and insurance professionals on how to better understand financial statements and on practice development.

 

Education
Steve received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from James Madison University in 1990. He is a licensed CPA in Virginia and Maryland.

 

Professional Associations
Steve is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Virginia Society of CPAs and the Maryland Association of CPAs.  He is also an active member of the Associated Builders & Contractors Metro Chapter, D.C. Metropolitan Subcontractors Association, Mid-Atlantic Surety Association, and the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.  He has served as a volunteer in leadership roles in various community organizations and was a member of the Executive Advisory Board for the School of Accounting at James Madison University.
