Kelly Ryan, Partner

Kelly Ryan is a partner at Lanigan, Ryan, Malcolm & Doyle, P.C. and has been with this accounting firm for over twenty years.  Kelly is an expert in the government contractors industry and also specializes in audits of employee benefit plans. 

 

Experience

Kelly has provided consulting, accounting and auditing services to government contractors since 1974.  His government contractor clients represent a variety of business industries including engineering, construction, manufacturing, facility management, software development, system integration and wholesale.  These businesses have contracts with municipal, state and federal government agencies. Kelly has represented clients before government audit agencies including Health and Human Services, Government Services Administration, Defense Contract Audit Agency and state government audit agencies.

 

Kelly also has extensive knowledge of performing business valuations used in the purchase, sale and generational succession of closely held businesses.

 

He has written articles for several local business journals and has been a guest speaker at local business meetings and government contractor conferences.

 

Education

Kelly graduated from the University of Maryland in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting.  He is a licensed CPA in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.

 

Professional Associations

Kelly is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Maryland Association of CPAs.  He is presently serving the second year of a two-year appointment to the government Contractor Committee of the Maryland Association of CPAs.
