Frank Lanigan,
Managing Partner
Frank Lanigan is the managing partner and co-founder of the firm. He has over 30 years of public accounting experience, and is an expert in many areas of business consulting, accounting, and tax. Frank’s guidance has helped create an atmosphere at LRMD that fosters the development and growth of both employees and clients.
Experience
Frank has worked with clients in a variety of industries, and his practice is concentrated on: construction, manufacturing, janitorial and direct-mail industries. Frank has presented seminars on how to better understand financial statements to bankers and surety agent groups. He has also presented workshops on the impact of new tax laws on financial statements to a regional meeting of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers.
Education
Frank graduated with honors from the University of Maryland in 1972, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting. He is a licensed CPA in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
Professional Associations
Frank is a member of: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is on the Board of Directors of AGN, an association of approximately 50 accounting firms located throughout North America. He is on the Board for the Capital Area Chapter of the Maryland Association of CPAs. He is also a member of the following trade associations: Associated Builders and Contractors and the DC Metropolitan Subcontractors Association. Frank serves as the Chairman of the Finance Committee on the Board of Directors of Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Wheaton, Maryland.

When Frank takes a break from the office, he enjoys discussing business with clients while fishing on the Chesapeake Bay. |
