LRMD and its staff are deeply committed to serving the local community by volunteering their various talents, time and financial resources. We are involved at the corporate and individual levels.
Our firm hosts an annual charity golf tournament that has been sold out every year it has been hosted. This event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities over the past sixteen years. Some of the charities that this event has supported include the Carol Jean Cancer Foundation, Community Lodgings, Childhood Brain Tumor Foundation, Boys & Girls Club, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Spanish Catholic Center, as well as many others.
LRMD is also involved in a variety of other community activities. Our firm and staff support local school drives, food and toy drives. We have participated as a team in the Habitat for Humanity Build Day and helped put the finishing touches on new homes for deserving families.
Our amazing staff also independently volunteer at local charities in their free time. Our employees serve on finance committees for Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, Resurrection Catholic Church, and a local chapter of Habitat for Humanity. One of our employees gives of her time weekly by reading to the mentally disabled at the Northern Virginia Training Center. Another one of our staff members volunteers for the DC Public Schools Campaign, which includes painting, cleaning, landscaping, playground-building and other efforts. There are several other members of our staff who raise money for wonderful causes by running in races such as the Susan G. Komen for the Cure event. |
